Nevada radio station promotes Tea Party protest

Reno Gazette-Journal: "Local radio station, 99.1 FM Talk KKFT, will make thousands of tea bags available to listeners, while encouraging them to mail them to their representatives in Washington, D.C., in a Tea Party protest."

• KKFT 99.1fm talk "is airing messages twice an hour telling listeners how and where to get the tea bags.

“Republicans are disappointing, Democrats are dangerous” is a part of the message, the station said in a press release Friday.

• The tea bags will be handed out Saturday, March 28, in front of the legislative building in Carson City.

The station also plans a larger tea party to coincide with the Carson City Tax Day Tea Party on April 15." via Radio Daily News
