Bank of America renews with Yankees for one year
MLB.com: "The Yankees and Bank of America have agreed on a one-year extension of their current sponsorship deal after talks about a long-term deal were halted in February, The Associated Press reported Friday.
- Bank of America spokesman Joe Goode told The AP that "while we couldn't proceed with a long-term partnership, we have extended our current sponsorship agreement with the Yankees for one more year."
The Yankees...have yet to make public comment on the extension. Bank of America and the Yankees having a relationship going back to 1994.
- Before breaking off long-term talks in February, the sides had discussed a new 20-year agreement that would have covered signage at the new Yankee Stadium, special events and tickets"...
