OMAR MINAYA on WFAN via telephone with Mike and Chris discusses Mets happenings during the WFAN Radiothon for children's charities. His appearance happens to follow the news of Imus' firing, but Minaya states, twice:

• "I'M VERY HAPPY TO BE HERE TODAY, HAPPY THE METS CAN SUPPORT THIS GREAT CAUSE, AS I DO AS WELL PERSONALLY."

*I guess Omar Minaya isn't intimidated by the antics of the modern-day Al Capones in "Reverend's" raiment.
