So far, Mike & the Mad Dog sound same as always

Both sound perky and are talking a lot about baseball. Such as:
  • Yankees have scored 2 runs or less in 31 games this year.
  • Arod is 1 for 13 with RISP since recent headlines.
  • The John Sterling ice cream story was disgusting.
  • Joba Chamberlain is shaking off catchers too much, and he usually makes the wrong choice. He's too cocky. The fact that he throws too many pitches is due in part to the fact that he sees himself as a strike-out pitcher instead of throwing a pitch inducing a pop-up or ground out, he sticks with trying to get a strike-out. Hence, he's out of games too quickly. This was mostly from Mike, who mentioned Scott Kazmir as a great pitcher who strikes out many guys but often has to come out of games earlier as a result.
  • Mike was asked for his World Series prediction as of today: His answer: Red Sox-Mets.
