American Airlines should put itself out of its misery

One of their crews boarded late for a flight from Florida to New York, encountered angry passengers, and canceled the flight as a result. Without knowing both sides, I would have no trouble believing the American Airlines staff was detached, rude, and thought they were doing everyone a favor just being there, etc. That has been my experience with that airline for many years which of course means I only use them as a last resort.
