The tail wags the dog

Allan (Bud) Selig said at a press conference prior to tonight's WBC game that HE feels this tourney should continue to be played in MARCH, according to the radio announcer on the ESPN coverage on XM. FINE. Then, as Mike Francesa correctly pointed out today, 1 or more of the following needs to happen...
  1. As this will either add or subtract about a month from the regular MLB season with practice, travel, etc., all players involved must take a pay cut from their employers (whose monies are received from the FANS).
  2. The regular MLB season must be shortened to about 154 games.
TO ALL THE WILLING ACCOMPLICES AT ESPN.COM, STOP THIS GARBAGE ABOUT HOW THE OWNERS MUST SACRIFICE . IT's US, THE FANS, YOU'RE DEALING WITH.
