Baseball traffic tonight in San Diego--here's how to get there & be happier doing it

Baseball Traffic Published: 3/19/2006 10:39:23 PM Amtrak officials encouraged fans attending Monday's World Baseball Classic championship game at Petco Park to take the Pacific Surfliner. Trains are scheduled to arrive at the San Diego station at 4:50 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Fans can then transfer to the San Diego Trolley, to one of two stations within walking distance of Petco Park. Pacific Surfliner service is available from Oceanside, Solana Beach and Old Town. Cuba will face Japan in the 6 p.m. championship game. Cuba defeated the Dominican Republic, 3-1, in the opening semifinal yesterday, while Japan was a 6-0 winner over South Korea in the other.
