Timlin/ Red Sox asked not to be used in last US game of WBC

Kevin Kennedy mentions this on a special edition show with Dibs on XM, discussing various facets of the series. Notes Buck Martinez could'nt have let it be known that Timlin wasn't available at the time (due to tired arm) as it would've favored the competition. US players wanted to win, but there were many issues Buck Martinez had to deal with that weren't publicized. Tom Pacioreck mentions Timlin won't have to go into the military or sugar cane fields as a result. Tom is one of new analysts for the Nationals.
