• I'm amazed Jeter didn't arrive in a wheelchair, helped onto the bench where some say he should permanently remain. Since the Captain is, according to media reports, enfeebled, broken down and a liability, perhaps he should allow Bud Selig to extract his pounds of flesh elsewhere in future. sm
