How much more can you give us, Big Mac, #70! promo again on XM baseball channel

Beefy homerun hitters welcome once again in MLB. I've heard this promo before on XM, this time at 5:03PM, Wednesday July 30th on XM 176. It sounds like a replay of an actual live call, as follows:

• "NUMBER 70, HOW MUCH MORE CAN YOU GIVE US, BIG MAC!

• NUMBER 70!!!"

On 10/5/05, Darren Rovell on ESPN.com wrote about the lack of promised activity from Mark McGwire's Foundation for Children ("Big Mac's Big Promise"):

• "Sandwiched between a cluster of chain restaurants and a movie theater, in a second-floor office in a strip mall along busy Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach, Calif., is the Mark McGwire Foundation for Children.

Existing primarily as a paper organization, its business address is borrowed from the accounting office that manages its forms and correspondence."...

• My guess is "Big" Mac will no doubt be seen in some capacity at the World Baseball Classic. (sm)
