Delgado will never shed reputation as a Dog

Marty Noble with Charley Steiner today said some people he knew thought Delgado deliberately dogged it while Willie Randolph was there. Examples such as not attempting to field a ball a few feet away from him, etc. This of course was in full view of the average person as you saw the guy standing still, refusing to even bend half way to get a ball rolling by, keeping his uniform spotless, chatting and smiling nonchalantly with an opposing team's runner at first base while fans were desperate to win the game. I also remember Delgado refusing to let Toronto trade him near the end of his contract when it would've helped them a lot and cost him nothing.
