The MLB Players Union needs Marvin Miller even today

Important 2 part series published on Dugout Central about Marvin Miller and what is really going on in today's MLBPA. Part 1, "Marvin Miller-Hall of Fame Shut-Out." They refer to a "conservative cabal" that controls the Hall of Fame. The word "conservative" is polite, but doesn't convey the emotion it must have taken to drastically restructure and handpick the voters to achieve a desired result. From everything I've read, it's a foregone conclusion Miller will never get in. The 2nd part of the series is: outlining the best way for selected individuals to lobby Marvin Miller's case for inclusion in the Hall. Tom Seaver was cited as an important player who thought Miller's exclusion was a "disgrace." One would need a strong stomach to go against them, need to be a risk taker, perhaps give up a lot of comfort. From my observations, no one related to baseball wants to do that. In other words, they are afraid.
