Gas prices make it into pop culture

Rays radio pregame tonight mentions attendance among other items, and gets a star for including gas prices as a possible factor in less than hoped for results. They came up with a good rejoinder for the problem:

• If you go to a Rays game, maybe you will forget about all the problems in the world today such as high gas prices.

Good idea. Also mentioned--Rays were hoping for a new stadium and maybe naysayers will use low attendance as a reason for not gong forward with it. That of course is another discussion.
