- "Huggins had a stormy relationship with the Babe, whom he suspended indefinitely and fined $5,000 for arriving late for a 1925 game against the Browns in St. Louis after a night on the town. The suspension lasted nine days before Huggins allowed the Babe to return while demanding that he apologize to him and the team."
