Mets TV Channel, SNY, again shows more appreciation for Mariano Rivera than YES Network

SNY showed highlights of last night's Tigers/Yankees game (ALDS game 1), which concluded appropriately,

• Showing a nice shot, nice angle of Rivera CLOSING OUT THE GAME BY INDUCING AN EASY GROUND BALL DOUBLE PLAY.

And saying approximately,

• "AND THE GREAT MARIANO, GETS THE DOUBLE PLAY...and all with just a few pitches." They followed the ball til its final resting place, allowing the fan to enjoy and realize the moment.

UNLIKE THE YES NETWORK, WHOSE OWN POST GAME SHOW SHOWED NO SUCH COVERAGE OF MARIANO'S GAME FINISH, AND CERTAINLY DID NOT REFER TO HIM AS 'THE GREAT MARIANO.'

• I'LL STOP WRITING ABOUT THIS WHEN THE YES NETWORK STARTS REALIZING THE TRUTH. THE RIVAL TV CHANNEL HAS REPEATEDLY DEMONSTRATED ITS KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION OF RIVERA, WHERE YES NETWORK DOES NOT. I'VE WRITTEN LETTERS TO YES NETWORK OFFICIALS ON THE SUBJECT.
