Jeff Erickson bravely states truth, Will Clark does NOT

1. Sad to hear Jeff's last Fantasy Focus of the season, but good to hear him clearly state while interviewing Will Clark on Monday's show that Mariano Rivera can pitch 2 innings "unlike some other closers." Jeff found out no one will join him in getting the truth out about Rivera. Will Clark would only state emphatically that

• Rivera "goes on the DL every year," we see this every year, so we'll just have to wait and see how he looks in the post season.
• I've spent awhile looking for records of Mariano's time on the DL, haven't found them yet, but am pretty sure he doesn't do "this every year." I'm going to write a letter to Rivera's agent, whom I believe is Fernando Cuza, advising him of possible slanderous statements about his client that are made on a daily basis.
• There have been no consequences to date, no corrections issued for hundreds of false statements made about many players. Broadcasters say whatever they want, often engaging in slander, which must be stopped.
