USA's efforts to promote baseball in Venezuela flop

In spite of contortions and sacrifices of US MLB players, fans, team mates, family members and others, Venezuela doesn't want the US renovating any unsafe ballfields there or giving new gloves to young players. This shows the whole con job on the WBC cocktail party was even worse than imagined. Violence breaks out in this terribly well-run country if we try to help the poverty stricken people there. Who exactly in Venezuela got the money from the WBC?
