Ranking #89 at .138 is Alex Rodriguez. (I don't mean to pick on Arod). But Jeter's numbers are here for anyone to see, & always have been. Many pathetic publications & individuals try to make money by using Jeter's name in an obviously biased context. The few who try to defend Jeter do so weakly & retreat quickly--in my opinion as a calculated political move on their part. They want to maintain a certain status with the majority in the financial area of baseball stats and writing, which entails ridiculing Derek Jeter.
