Writers' Baseball Awards are at Risk

This article explains the dire situation for baseball awards. It was written only 2 months ago, & quotes Jack O'Connell, sec./treas. of the BBWAA. It sounds like a pity party--not a hint of self examination from any of the writers nor an HOF representative. This is like asking the fox to guard the hen house. NOT ALLOWED TO VOTE IN BASEBALL AWARDS: AP Sports Writers (policy began a decade ago, with a reminder memo that went out last summer), the NY Times, the LA Times, the Baltimore Sun, the Washington Post, & the Atlanta Journal Constitution. I agree that every voter's ballot should be made public. If a newspaper (or electronic journal or who knows what---we have no idea) won't print the ballot results, we should boycott the newspaper's advertisers.
