Devil Rays' first priority was to get young starting pitching, which is what they got in the trade of Danys Baez & Lance Carter to the Dodgers. I feel the Devil Rays played extremely well last year, were amazing to watch as individuals & as a team. It's too bad they couldn't have kept Baez & added to that. They agreed Chuck Tiffany has a big upside. Danys is an upgrade over Sanchez, prefers to close over setting up, & may get chances to do so if Gagne isn't available. Lance Carter may have more opportunities to contribute with the Dodgers than he did with the Rays.
