DANYS BAEZ & LANCE CARTER TRADED FROM TAMPA BAY TO DODGERS

All Star closer Danys Baez & reliever and 2003 all star Lance Carter have been traded from the Tampa Bay Devil Rays to the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers will send back RHP Edwin Jackson and minor league lefty Chuck Tiffany. Ned Colletti is pleased about the additions to his bullpen, noting Baez is one of the best closers in the American League. Jackson is considered 1 of the top prospects in the Dodgers' organization. Very big moves, including the much discussed Danys Baez.
