Buster Olney: Mets & Blue Jays biggest winners so far; Dodgers beginning journey; Soriano, "I won't move;" Tigers OK; Reds fans sad; Pirates ok

The Mets are moving forward, but still must find middle relief; the Blue Jays look to get back the glory. The Dodgers made the right move with Grady Little--has a winning record, can bring a mercurial group into focus, players responded to him, & was doing fine until Game 7 of the ALCS in 2003.
  • Soriano tells Ft. Worth paper last night, "I won't move."
Olney says this isn't just a personal preference, but is worth $10's of millions to Alfonso viewing his historical offensive stats vs. other 2B's. Olney points out Frank Robinson is not the "schmoozy" type of manager, & if Soriano gives him any trouble, Robinson is likely to say:
  • "Take a seat, Alfonso."
