Andruw Jones gets first John Sterling home run call

UPDATE, 7/14/11, Andruw Jones home run call July 14, 2011, Mr. Sterling stays with the May 15 version Update, 5/15/11: Andruw Jones gets second home run call In Sunday night's Red Sox-Yankee game in the bottom of the second, the tag from John Sterling on Yankee radio as I heard it:
  • "He's Merry Andruw, and he's keeping up with the Joneses!"
This is a change from Sterling's first home run call for Jones, which was, "Andruw Jones makes his bones." --------------------------------------- Andruw Jones hit his first home run as a Yankee, in his first Yankee at bat, solo shot in the bottom of the 2nd vs the Twins at the Stadium. As he rounded the bases, John Sterling said, "Andruw Jones makes his bones, he drives his first Yankee home run into the seats." Twins won 5-4.
