CC tells Ned Colletti he wants to be a Dodger--MLB

• 1. This is in line with everything that's been said about what Sabathia wants.

• 2. The Yankees look like fools, especially tonight after Cashman said what a quality character guy Sabathia is. Fine if he wants to go to the Dodgers, not fine doing it this way and at this time.

• 3. The Yankees need to very quietly let Sabathia's agent know a deadline on their offer.

Update: Report now that Colletti said Sabathia didn't pitch him directly but through third parties and at another time. If there isn't more than one decent pitcher available per year, at least half of MLB teams should close down. (sm)
