World Baseball Classic hondles for K-rod near elevator on Mets' dime

• and Felipe Alou, who will manage the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic,

but was not believed to have joined his agent, Paul Kinzer, during Monday’s discussions."...

• Fine. Let K-rod play for the World Baseball Classic.
• Stop having discussions with the Mets or any other team about your regular career.
• After you've pitched your arm out for the 'Classic,' re-submit your medical reports and be re-evaluated. This has become a farce.
• Especially when it involves a pitcher and an important one. (sm)
