Listening to Joe Morgan today

Hearing Joe Morgan speak on the lack of inductions to the post 1943 Hall of Fame, his words and tone suggested what I've heard from him before. He is not concerned about whether he ever names another person to the Hall of Fame, no matter who they are. He doesn't have to be. He is unsupervised. Baseball hierarchy which includes these awards is shouting but no one seems to hear. They do not care what you think and they don't have to. They are enshrined themselves by appointments onto various Hall of Fame boards. These are THEIR awards, as one of their recent presidents said on XM a year or so ago (I believe it was Paul Hoynes). Millions of dollars in time, space and energy are wasted on this subject.
