YES Network starting to tank--Newsday

"Predictably, (YES Network) ratings have taken a hit recently and will continue to do so...

• The biggest attraction left is the final game at the Stadium, but

• that will be on ESPN a week from Sunday.

And for the first time in YES' seven-season history,

• there will be no playoff pre- and postgames."...

Which is fine unless anybody thinks the YES Network can succeed with a losing Yankee team not only this year, but for as long as Hank and Hal are the owners. (The Newsday story focused mostly on a topic about Michael Kay).

• The success came from 13 consecutive years in the post season, a stretch unlikely to happen ever again. (sm)
