Hedge fund that moved on the NY Times buys stake in Cablevision

A big hedge fund must have liked the Cablevision purchase of Newsday...

• "Harbinger Capital Management, an activist hedge fund with a history of shaking up the management of companies in which it invests,
• has accumulated a 4.9% stake in Cablevision Systems Corp."...

This company along with a partner forced its way into 2 seats on the NY Times board of directors earlier this year.
