Hall of Fame includes post season, eg. Gossage has 318 'total saves' not 310

Hall of Fame evaluation is different from Cy Young evaluation. Goose Gossage's post season record is routinely excluded in media reports, eg Kevin Kernan in the NY Post recently wrote Gossage had 310 saves but that's only the regular season total. With all the sources available today, it shouldn't be so hard to include the entire body of work of a player.
  • If Cy Young and Hall of Fame are the same, cancel one of them.
P.S. Gossage also said pitchers today have it much tougher than he did. A sign of durability not mentioned in Kernan's report was the '2 saves in 1 day stat,' among others. If Gossage did have any of those, they could noted in the area of durability. In addition to regular and post season 'total save stat' compilations.
