Neil Best--informed rumor--Mike Francesa to MSG

Neil Best says informed speculation but worthy nonetheless. My 2 cents--longtime listeners to Mike and the Mad Dog know that Mike has had a good relationship with Jim Dolan for a long time. As hideous as Dolan is, Francesa has refrained from ever killing the guy. I will be very upset if Mike and Chris split--each is a genius in his own way.

• Key in all this is they both love baseball--which is why the split is bad for baseball. If each had his own show, I'd switch back and forth but if I had to pick one, it has to be Francesa. He knows a lot about just about everything.
