I bet the Kool Aid drinkers (AND CLASS A PHONIES LIKE MICHAEL KAY) have forgotten the despicable item planted in the newspaper after the Yankees kicked Andy Pettitte out the door in 2003--to a huge negative response by fans and enormous coverage by media. The planted item was something that would've hurt his wife and children for the rest of their lives. The Yankees were taken aback by the groundswell of support Andy received. (Cashman later admitted it had been mishandled). I learned there were no limits to what certain powerful individuals would do to sway public opinion. You can decide for yourself who planted the item on that day.
