Chazz Palminteri on Joe Torre: Deal was a "slap in the face"

Chazz Palminteri calls Mike Francesa on WFAN, says he sees deal calculated to get Torre to reject it. Or stupid.

• Gammons and Kurkjian on ESPN News: Gammons repeats his earlier statement that Randy Levine didn't like Torre, it was well known in the organization, and that he appears to have gotten his way in getting rid of him now. But Gammons also says most don't expect Levine to be around much longer.

Dusty Baker on ESPN News: Not surprised Torre turned it down.
