• General Manager Brian Cashman, Hank and Hal Steinbrenner, and other Yankees executives are inside meeting with George Steinbrenner, who arrived shortly before 1 p.m.

Given the attendees we spotted, the discussions this morning may have been focused on players, not the manager."
