Red Sox radio plays John Sterling's call of Yankees giving up homerun

At about 4:05 pm today I turned to the Red Sox game, heard John Sterling's voice calling a 3 run homerun being given up by the Yankees to Tampa Bay today. The Red Sox update guy says, well that's the latest on the Yankees, back to you guys (at the Orioles-Red Sox game). The Red Sox play by play guy says:
  • "Well, that's good news, (Tex)!"
(The name went by too fast for me to hear, so I'm just using 'Tex'). The bubbly Red Sox play by play guy at this point was one of the new guys, possibly Glenn Geffner. Nobody thinks the Yankees are catching the Red Sox, so I was surprised they thought this was such 'good news.' Plus the Orioles' Brian Roberts sat out today (PH in 9th). That's one of the good things about Red Sox radio--they usually tell you what's going on in Yankee games so you don't have to change the dial.
