Dweeb of the Week--Keith Olberman

"Keith Olbermann: To hear this fellow speak - on ESPN-1050 - it wasn't NBC News boss Steve Capus who was responsible for firing Don Imus from MSNBC, it was Olbermann. Once Imus got the boot, Olbermann, who has a show on MSNBC, leveled some accusations at Imus concerning his off-air conduct at the station. If Imus' conduct was so bad, why didn't Olbermann confront him face to face when he was still at MSNBC? Perhaps because it would have taken guts. Instead Olbermann, in full weasel mode, waited until Imus was down for the count before making these comments on the radio. Then the blowhard patted himself on the back for being the MSNBC guy who took Imus down.
  • Double Talk (of the Week):
  • What CBS boss Leslie Moonves said: "I believe all of us have been deeply upset and revulsed by the (Imus) statements."
  • What Leslie Moonves meant to say: "I was deeply upset and revulsed when Al Sharpton and our advertisers told me to be deeply uspet and revulsed.""
Items from Bob Raissman column, NY Daily News, 4/15/07, "FranDog Days, Beyond Mike & Chris, WFAN has Dead Air."
