Clemens and Pettitte filed for free agency, but neither has decided yet to play

Pettitte has "some serious burnout" and has talked of retiring, but is said to have told confidants he'd consider returning to the Bronx. I can tell you the roar of the crowd would be deafening were he to be announced at Yankee Stadium again, so angry were fans that Andy was rudely dismissed 3 years ago. (Forget any propaganda to the contrary--Andy had been with the Yankees his entire career, since 1991). Clemens has also admitted the long season causes him to lose steam, but the NY Daily News wants to give all fans something about which to speculate. So, they show a nice picture of Andy and Roger together. Somebody could get both, neither, or one, we don't know yet.
