Another member of the boys' club, George Mitchell was considered the next commissioner of baseball back in 1994, according to the Sporting News, 6/13/94 by Steve Marantz. I happen to agree with Mike Francesa, however, who says this is all just to delay the whole matter & get it off the front pages. Just so you don't think there really is anything going on in the boys' club. The article politely reveals just another rich guy who's used to getting what he wants & doesn't answer questions.
