Kennedy & Dibble, Sly Young

They offer nothing new in analysis of the AL Cy Young going to Colon. They just come up with extremely general reasons why Mariano Rivera was gosh, golly pretty good, but look at these wins from Colon. I realize covering all of baseball is difficult--these guys shouldn't be put in the position of knowing all about it. I've stated here before their negative feelings about Mariano Rivera. Beyond that, they're also very uninformed about him. Why don't they discuss how many newspapers no longer allow their writers to vote in awards like this? What did papers find out about conflicts of interest that caused them to stop this practice? If total wins is most important, why not decide this award by computer?
