The Flap about Joe Torre saying Jeter or Arod would move

Tim Kurkjian on with Charley says, first, "It's out of character for Joe Torre to mention something like that" as he did. Tim thinks he did it to tweak the front office into getting a real center fielder. Kurkjian: "The thought of moving 2 gold glove winners is astonishing." He doesn't think Jeter would be so great in CF. And, that they wouldn't find a better 3B than Arod. On the Rangers attracting free agent pitchers--very little chance a pitcher would choose to go to such a big hitters' park.
