BJ Ryan signs with Blue Jays

Bill Madden of the NY Daily News reports lefty reliever BJ Ryan has signed with the Toronto Blue Jays. The deal is $47 million for 5 years. Bill reports that the Blue Jays' current closer, Miguel Batista, may be traded. Word is they've been talking to the Texas Rangers about swapping Batista for outfielder Kevin Mench. I think Mench is the one they say likes to have fun, & fun doesn't always go over well with Buck.
