Maybe the Braves heard Billy Wagner mention them in a radio interview he did last week, but anyhow, some executives say the Braves have asked to see Wagner again. Bill Madden discusses Yankee, Red Sox, & Marlins moves. He sticks up for Loria a bit in his piece, and in mentioning the thin market, says he thinks Kyle Farnsworth is a "certified eccentric." Madden also mentions that Mariano Rivera turns 36 today (although Baseball Reference lists it as Nov. 29).Happy Birthday, Mo!
