Powerful BBWAA activist reveals the difference between Joakim Soria and Mariano Rivera

"The big difference between Soria and Rivera is that the former had his success with out-of-the-money teams."... "The Royals signed Soria to his deal prior to 2009 season. It contained three guaranteed years and three club-option years, and they just exercised the first of those for 2012. Teams could be a little wary of Soria, however, as he wasn’t as good last season as in previous years. But there’s no ignoring his 160-for-180 career save ratio. That’s an 88.9 percent success rate, right there with Mariano Rivera’s career mark of 89.3.
