Stan Musial on What's My Line in 1964

In 1964 Mr. Musial was named by Pres. Lyndon Johnson to head the President's Council on Physical Fitness. 1963 was Mr. Musial's last year as an MLB player. He made $65,000.

"I met him back in the late 70's while in college at our college TV station. SUPER nice person and introduced himself as "Stan the Man" with a very warm and sincere handshake. It was awesome. Told me how night games were tough on him and how he worked on increasing his power numbers to increase his salary. It was unreal how he just opened up about things. He was getting ready to appear on local talk show. Maybe he was getting warmed up."
