NBC News honors Ground Zero mosque shuck and jive developer (with rap sheet) among 'People of the Year' Thanksgiving night

Not a shy guy as per his rap sheet, El-Gamal has filed for $5 million US taxpayer dollars slated for 9-11 redevelopment. He's being sued for non-payment of a loan, has tax problems, and almost nothing in the bank($20K). El-Gamal's 'founding partner' in the Ground Zero mosque deal using our money, seeking tax-free status, is Imam Feisal Rauf who has also received millions in US taxpayer money (and who is the Cordoba Initiative).
