Eric Shanks named new Fox Sports president

Neil Best, 5/27: "Eric Shanks, a high-ranking DirecTV executive, was named president of Fox Sports Wednesday, at 38 becoming what is believed to be the youngest president ever of a broadcast network sports division. Shanks will succeed Ed Goren, 65, who was named vice chairman.
