Red Sox costliest ticket 1996-2008, now #2-Boston Herald
"The (Red Sox) team tops an annual ticket price study with a 2010 Fan Cost Index of $335 for four tickets, parking, food, beverages and a couple of caps.
- That’s $5 more than the runner-up Chicago Cubs and $19 more than the third-place Yankees.
Sox tickets alone average $52.32 - pennies lower than the Cubs’ passes, which lead the majors at $52.56, according to Team Marketing Report’s study out today.
- Before last year, when the Yankees and their shiny new stadium topped the survey,
- the Red Sox claimed the costliest ticket every year since 1996 and
- the highest Fan Cost Index since 2001."...
