JC Romero says no more World Baseball Classic for him

"J.C. Romero, the veteran left-handed reliever, vowed to be ready for opening day. He had surgery to repair a torn elbow tendon on Oct. 7, and
  • he linked the injury to his participation in the World Baseball Classic last March, when he represented Puerto Rico.

“You won’t see me play in another Baseball Classic,” Romero said. “I’ll tell you that much. I apologize to the fans or whoever expects me to play, but I’m not playing in another Baseball Classic.”"
