ESPN 1050 tipped Yankee suits may be in hot water over ongoing snafus

Speculation on the future of Lonn Trost and/or Randy Levine started this morning with a report by ESPN 1050 radio's Andrew Marchand. He says a major league executive thinks one or both is in hot water for various issues related to the new stadium. Logically, Mr. Marchand wonders if Hal is engaged enough to make this kind of decision.

I was alerted to this item by SlidingIntoHome which said regarding Levine and Trost:

• "I said a few days ago that these two were helping the Yankees lose their soul as an organization and I think it would be in the best interest of the franchise to get rid of both of them. Apparently someone in the organization might feel the same way - hopefully it's enough people to get both of them out of here."...

Of course no wishes anyone to lose their job, but sometimes it's just time to move on.
