Curt Schilling's experience in the Middle East

On his blog 38Pitches.com he notes soldiers are very upset about the media's selective reporting of their efforts in the war zone. This guy could be doing other things, but has gone over to that gruesome place, cheered up a lot of soldiers, and written in detail about it.
