Red Sox & MLB together again for green industry salon

"Wednesday, November 19, 2008 (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM EST) EcoSalon
In April, the Boston Red Sox and NRDC were honored with the U.S. EPA's Environmental Merit Award for their initiatives to green Fenway Park and its practices. As one of the first teams to pilot Major League Baseball's new Team Greening Program - launched in collaboration with NRDC - the Red Sox are showing results in transforming their 96-year-old historic ballpark into a modern, green, environmentally-friendly place. By saving energy, reducing waste and making the organization and the stadium run more efficiently, these unprecedented efforts are a win-win-win for the environment, the bottom line and for fans all around. On November 19, Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2) invites you to join representatives from the Boston Red Sox and for an evening at Fenway Park to learn more about the Red Sox and MLB's comprehensive environmental strategies. This is an invitation-only event, and space is prioritized for E2 members and invited guests. A fee is required for non-E2 members. Invitations have been emailed." (Item is at end of page)**********
